Guest scores and detailed hotel feedback
The hotel's location was a little funky at the dead end of a back street, but it turned out to be great with a close view of balloons going up. The rooms were equipped with a microwave, fridge, and a very comfortable bed, but cleanliness was an issue as there were remnants of the night before. Service was a hit or miss, with somewhat rude staff that struggled with punctuality. The dining experience left much to be desired with limited options and empty boxes of cereal. However, the hotel did appreciate its guests with thoughtful salting of the grounds for snow and ice.
I found the hotel to be in a funky neighborhood at the end of a dead-end street, which was a bit disappointing. However, the staff was quick to assist, and the dining experience with shareable appetizers was enjoyable. The facilities were basic but served their purpose.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was convenient, and the area was decent, but the rooms were filthy, lacked hot water, and had a strong smell of smoke despite a strict no-smoking policy. On the bright side, the service was attentive and aimed to quickly resolve issues. The dining experience left much to be desired, with uncovered bowls of cereal and empty boxes of pastries. However, the facilities were sufficient for a comfortable stay.
